Shadows Make Flight’s self-titled EP is to be released 28 August at the Hopetoun Hotel, Surry Hills. The EP has a mix of emotive songs being brought to life through their soaring vocals, intricate layering of sounds and pop sensibilities.

The EP recorded entirely by the group and Val Calocerinos at The Sound Basement shows not only an attention to detail but a love of the finer details in recording with layer upon upon layer delicately constructed with a fastidious approach.
The recordings, having taken over 6 months to write and record, have taken a life of their own and show a maturity in the song writing abilities of the 5 piece.

All guests will receive a free EP on entry, and t-shirts will be be available for purchase on the night.

It is with great pleasure that we announce our debut Ep is ready for release. The 6 tracks are available in their entirety on MySpace. We are in the process of organising online digital distribution. Details will follow soon. In the meantime, the only way to get your hands on a copy, is to head down to the Hopetoun this Friday.
